Your first visit to BACWA

Can I come to a meeting before joining?

Yes. Visitors and prospective members are welcome. Meetings are usually on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm at RSL Belmont, 22 Leake Street, Belmont. Check our events and meeting dates before travelling, and contact the club if you have questions about your first visit.

How do I join the club?

Contact the club to request a membership application form and ask about current membership fees. Applications require nomination by an existing member and acceptance by the membership. You can meet members at a club meeting and ask about the next steps.

Can you help identify an old bottle or collectable?

Send an enquiry with a description of your item, any maker’s marks or lettering, and where it was found if known. Clear photos of the whole item, its base and any marks help members understand what you have. Our enquiry form accepts up to three optional photos. You can also browse the bottles and collectables our members collect.

How do I offer items for a club auction?

Contact the club secretary through our contact page with a description and photos of the items or collection. Ask about suitability, the next available auction, vendor fees and arrangements before bringing items in. Browse our auction catalogues for examples of previous auctions.
